![]() By: Thurman Murman ![]() It is the turn of the Twenty-one-point-six-hundredth Century. In a time of bleak darkness, widespread evil epidemic, and feathered haircuts, an unlikely hero emerges. Well, five of them. This “league of extraordinary gentlemen” recognized only by the title of The Beyond The Citadel Of The Coup De Grâce bring hope to a near-lost world. Hope that one day, once again, for the first time ever, the Earth may live in perfect harmony, devoid of any shred of fear from the flesh-eating zombies that inhabit this planet, sucking our will to live at exponentially increasing pace. Or something like that. In complete and utter honesty, what Beyond The Citadel lacks in superhuman ability, they make up for in super shredtacity. Kinda. Sort of. With astounding grace and poise, the Fantastic Five prance about the land, spreading their message of intergalactic parasite invasion and various forms of bundt cake cookery. Will the world soon be rid of its woe? Can the vile and lecherous Humptopus be defeated once and for all? Will they be able to solve the mystery, put to the tune of Paula Cole’s vocals, answering the age-old riddle, “Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?” Tune in next time to find out. It’s all in a day’s work. |
